Megan Moroney, Ellie Goulding, Ravyn Lenae, Metric, and more appear on 17-song compilation out Oct. 23

Miley, J Balvin, and Stella Lefty are among the stacked lineup of artists contributing to the soundtrack for Season Three of the hit show Nobody Wants This. The album arrives on Oct. 23, one day after the romantic comedy series premieres its third season.

Megan Moroney, Ellie Goulding, Ravyn Lenae, Metric, Bailey Zimmerman, Maisie Peters, Noga Erez, Mimi Webb, Jessie Murph, Alyssa Grace, Cameron Whitcomb, Bella Kay, and Elle Coves round out the musicians performing on the new set, which also includes an original score suite from composer Duncan Blickenstaff.

Among the songs appearing on the soundtrack are J Balvin’s “Click Click Flash,” which previously appeared in video game Fortnite, a demo of Miley’s song “You,” which appears on 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation, and Stella Lefty & Bailey Zimmerman’s previously unreleased “My Kind of Love.”

The compilation was produced by the show’s executive producer and soundtrack album producer Simon Tikhman alongside Jeff Levin, Chief Zaruk, and Ian Cripps.

Season Two soundtrack featured songs by Kacey Musgraves, Role Model, Finneas, and Selena Gomez, among others. Show creator Erin Foster told Rolling Stone why Gomez’s “In the Dark” was chosen. “We knew we needed a song that could hold the weight of that moment — where Joanne [Kristen Bell] and Noah [Adam Brody] are putting on a brave face at Morgan’s engagement party, but underneath they’re falling apart,” Foster said. “‘In The Dark’ felt like it was written for that exact emotional state: Pretending everything’s fine when it’s not, reaching for connection even when you’re hurting. Selena’s voice has this aching vulnerability that made the scene feel even more raw. It captures that.”

The multiple Emmy-nominated Nobody Wants This follows the love story between Bell’s Joanne and Brody’s Noah. In Season Two, the couple dealt with making the relationship work, which culminates in tensions between the pair — and without totally spoiling it, suffice to say that does not end so well.
