A spot in the IFA Shield 2026 final is up for grabs as Mohun Bagan Super Giant takes on Punjab FC on Sunday at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.

Mohun Bagan comes into the tie after thrashing Sreenidi Deccan 6-0, followed by a hard-fought 1-1 draw against NorthEast United in the group stage. Punjab, meanwhile, thumped Calcutta Customs 7-0 and then edged past local giant East Bengal FC 1-0 in its group games.

Is there extra time and penalties in IFA Shield semifinal?

If the Mohun Bagan Super Giant vs Punjab FC IFA Shield semifinal ends in a draw, the match will head into extra time. If the scores are still level after two 15-minute halves, the game will be decided by a penalty shootout.
