India’s Sresht Mantena won the team gold with Team Asia at the Youth OIympics in Dakar, Senegal on Thursday.
The 15-year-old Mantena, who is riding on the Crazy Horse Boop, was part of riders from United Arab Emirates, China and Indonesia as they beat Team Inter America and Team Africa to claim gold.
Mantena is set to compete in the individual final later on Friday.
In the second day of qualifying on Thursday, Mantena was among the three riders, who remained perfect and avoided penalties.
However, scores from the qualifiers will not be carried forward to the final.
