How to Watch Tonight’s ‘All American’ Series Finale Online Free

After eight seasons and more than 100 episodes, The CW‘s “All American” bids farewell tonight.

The high school football drama airs its final episode tonight at 8 p.m. on The CW, closing a chapter that first premiered in October of 2018.

Viewers can tune into the hour-long “All American” finale on TV through their local CW affiliate, or stream the show as it airs with a live streaming service like DIRECTV (currently offering a free trial here). DIRECTV carries a live CW feed that you can use to watch “All American” online free without cable.

You can also watch the “All American” finale online through Fubo and Hulu + Live TV, both of which also offer free trials that let you watch the show on your computer, phone, tablet or smart TV. The final episode will be available to stream the next day on cwtv.com.

Tonight’s series finale is titled “To Live and Die in L.A,” and welcomes back original cast members, Daniel Ezra (Spencer) and Samantha Logan (Olivia), as friends and family rally around Olivia as she goes into labor. Ezra also returned to direct the final episode.

As Spencer James, Ezra played the main protagonist in the series, whose life in Crenshaw is turned on its head after he is recruited by coach Billy Baker (played by Taye Diggs) to play for a high school football team in Beverly Hills. The series followed the friendships and relationships made on and off the football field, while addressing themes of classism, adolescence and race.

Diggs departed the show in a shocking season five episode, while original cast members Ezra, Logan, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook and Monet Mazur left at the end of season six. After a time jump, “All American” picked up in season seven with Greta Onieogou (Layla), Bre-Z (Coop) and Michael Evans Behling (Jordan) leading the cast along with a new group of regulars.

Per an episode description, tonight’s series finale focuses on Spencer as he “navigates one of the toughest and most important days of his life. Meanwhile, Olivia leans on her mom to help her make the right decision. Friends and family, old and new, gather as one chapter ends and new chapters begin for our favorite Crenshaw and Beverly natives.”

The series finale episode is written by executive producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll along with co-showrunner Jamie Turner.
