Ariana Grande clashes with Ben Stiller in ‘Focker-In-Law’ trailer

A new trailer has arrived for Focker-In-Law, featuring Ariana Grande as the latest addition to the comedy franchise.
The film, released on November 25, is the fourth in the series that began with 2000’s Meet The Parents. In this new instalment, Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) becomes suspicious of his son’s new fiancé (Grande), and infuriated that she earns the approval of his father-in-law, Jack (Robert De Niro).
The clip sees Grande’s character, Olivia, win over all of her future in-laws aside from Greg, who becomes competitive with her in hilariously awkward ways, including mishaps with cooking and a cycling race. The film also sees Olivia take part in the famous lie detector test from the first movie. Check out the full trailer below.
This will be Stiller’s first starring role in a movie since 2017 drama The Meyerowitz Stories, with the actor having made sporadic supporting appearances in other movies, as well as working on the hit streaming show Severance.
For Grande, this will be her first acting role since 2025’s Wicked: For Good, and her first comedy since the 2021 satire Don’t Look Up. She earned an Academy Award nomination for her performance in the first Wicked movie, as well as BAFTA and Golden Globe nods.
The performer recently wrapped up a global concert tour at London’s O2 Arena, following the announcement that she would be stepping back from public life due to “endless, ongoing public scrutiny”. During her final date, she shared a message of thanks with the London crowd.
“I just want to express my gratitude without sobbing completely,” she said during the set. “But really, thank you from the bottom of my heart, it’s been so special and I’ll cherish this experience always. I have the best fans in the entire world and I always have.”
