Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs has a sister-in-law who says what she thinks, and she thinks the Philadelphia Eagles should win. On the November 4 episode of "New Heights," Travis used Kylie Kelce as his example of a truthful fan while he grilled podcast staffer Jake Chatzky about the New York Jets. Kylie, who married former Eagles center Jason Kelce, has never pretended otherwise. Travis does not mind one bit. He admires it. Her loyalty even showed up at Super Bowl LVIII, and the story behind that day is worth a closer look.
Jake Chatzky Learns Where The New York Jets Stand With Travis Kelce
Ahead of the Chiefs' game against the New York Jets, Jason Kelce put Chatzky on the spot. Chatzky grew up a Jets fan but now works on a show hosted by a Chiefs star. Which team would he back? He winced first. "Don't make me do this, Jason," he said. Then he committed: "I'm absolutely rooting for Travis, for sure, I am 100 percent rooting for Travis."
Travis pounced. "You hear that Jets fans?" he said. "He's a f***ing phony. He's a phony."
Chatzky tried to wriggle free by saying he was backing Travis, not a Chiefs win. Travis laughed and shut that down. "Don't f***ing lie to my face."
Travis then pointed to the one person he trusts to be straight with him. "At least my sister-in-law will tell me to my face, 'F*** you, I hope the Birds win.'"
Caitlin Clark reveals Travis Kelce is her favorite Chiefs player of all time, ranking him ahead of both Tony Gonzalez and Patrick Mahomes. Kylie Kelce: “You've been to a lot of Chiefs games, and I won't tell Travis either way. But is Travis your favorite Chiefs player of all time?” Caitlin Clark: “Come on, of course. He is. I was like a Tony Gonzalez fan when I was growing up, too, but no. Travis is definitely my favorite Chiefs player of all time. And Patrick is right behind him.” Kylie Kelce: “Aren't they so much fun to watch?” Caitlin Clark: “It's just like they just make it look so easy.” “Chiefs Super Bowl 2027. It's played in the new year, so… Well, I feel good about it.” Kylie Kelce: “I am so grateful to you. I will tell you, Go Chiefs.”

Even after all that, the mood stayed light. "Good luck to your Jets, bud," Travis told him. "Good luck to you, Travis," Chatzky said. Travis shrugged it off with, "I'll take all the good luck I can get."
Kylie Kelce Skipped Kansas City Chiefs Gear At Super Bowl LVIII And Travis Kelce Understood
Kylie's stance is nothing new. Jason played 13 years for the Philadelphia Eagles, and she grew up cheering for them. When the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in February 2024, she sat in the crowd for Travis but left the red and gold of Kansas City at home. She wore a red University of Cincinnati shirt, a nod to the college both brothers attended, over an "Alright Nah" shirt.
Jason said he pushed her to loosen up. "I have tried [saying], 'Kylie, we have family in the game, it's okay to cheer on that team. They're not playing the Eagles. You realize this isn't against the Eagles right?,'" he said. "She just refuses." Philadelphia fans loved it, he added.
Travis never held it against her. "I respect it Ky. I appreciate you even wearing red. You could have worn something neutral and just showed your support. You showing up was enough for me, so I appreciate it."
