Sarkodie has joined the list of people who have shared their reaction to the tragic death of Ghanaian Javits Frimpong in New York
Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has expressed sadness over the tragic death of Javits Frimpong, a Ghanaian boy who was killed in the United Kingdom.
Reacting to the incident, the rapper reflected on the values instilled in children growing up in Ghana, contrasting the way murder cases are received in Ghana with what he described as the increasingly frequent occurrence of such incidents in parts of the Western world.
Sarkodie questioned the upbringing that could lead children to commit such acts and urged Black parents and guardians in the diaspora to do better in raising their children and teaching them the right values.
He also expressed concern about the safety of Ghanaians living abroad, noting that incidents like this make it difficult for families to feel secure about their loved ones outside the country.
Concluding his message, Sarkodie extended his heartfelt condolences to Javits Frimpong's family, particularly his parents, and prayed for the peaceful repose of the young boy's soul.
