Translate

The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the Jerusalem District Court against a 22-year-old pharmacy student and resident of Beit Hanina, charging him with preparing to commit a "murderous terrorist act" and "undergoing training for terrorist purposes," it confirmed on Thursday.

According to the indictment, the defendant planned to carry out attacks against both Israeli security forces and Jewish civilians using explosive devices and lethal poisons, the indictment read.

The defendant's plans to carry out an attack were intended to "cause mass casualties," the indictment said.

The prosecution asked the court the order the defendant's detention until legal proceedings conclude.
