KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia's key index opened slightly lower on Thursday following Wall Street's mixed performance as softer inflation eased expectations of another hike by the US Federal Reserve.
The 30-stock index dropped 1.3 points to open at 1,649.
It is likely to trade within the 1,640 and 1,660 range today.
