Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu Reveal Face of Newborn Daughter

Diamond Platnumz and his partner Zuchu have officially unveiled the face of their newborn daughter during a traditional 40-day Maulid celebration held to mark the baby’s milestone.

The intimate yet high-profile ceremony brought together family members, close friends and media personalities as the couple introduced their daughter to the public for the first time.

Diamond also revealed that the baby has been named Sandrah Junior, after his mother, Sanura Kasimu, popularly known as Mama Dangote.

“Yes, Sandrah is her Name; she got it from her granny, Mama Dangote, so she is #SJ, yani Sandrah Junior,” Diamond said.

Diamond celebrated the special occasion on social media, sharing the first images showing his daughter’s face and expressing his joy over the family milestone.

The decision to name the baby after his mother was presented as a tribute to Mama Dangote and the important role she has played in Diamond’s life and career.

The announcement quickly attracted reactions from fans, fellow musicians and public figures, with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux among those sending his best wishes to the family.

WCB Wasafi also celebrated the milestone with a message welcoming the newborn.

“Hello, little Sandrah. You are already so loved, SJ. Happy 40 Days, Mama,” the label said.

Diamond, whose real name is Naseeb Abdul Juma, marked the occasion with a lavish celebration combining traditional customs with the grandeur often associated with his high-profile events.

Strict dress code for guests

The ceremony began with red-carpet arrivals in the afternoon, setting the tone for an elaborate celebration.

Guests were required to follow a strict Arabic-inspired dress code, with Diamond warning ahead of the event that anyone who failed to meet the specified standards would not be allowed into the venue, even if they had an invitation card.
