Esma Platnumz Addresses Family Tensions Surrounding Diamond And Zuchu’s Relationship

Esma Platnumz, sister to Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz, has opened up about internal family dynamics, revealing how relationship disagreements between Diamond and WCB Wasafi signee Zuchu frequently impact the broader family circle.

Speaking during an interview with AYO TV at the recent Arobaini celebrations—a traditional milestone marking 40 days since Diamond and Zuchu welcomed their newborn daughter, May—Esma detailed a recurring pattern following domestic disputes.

She explained that whenever a disagreement arises between the couple, Zuchu routinely blocks not only Diamond on social media platforms, but also his family members, including Esma and Mama Dangote, alongside key members of the WCB Wasafi team.

Framing her remarks as sisterly advice rather than a public grievance, Esma shared that she has directly spoken to Zuchu about the practice. She noted that now that Zuchu is a mother, she should focus her energy on her newborn child, exercise emotional restraint, and step back from impulsive social media reactions during disagreements. Expressing confidence in the couple’s growth, Esma added that she believes Zuchu will outgrow the habit over time as the couple matures together.
