Charli XCX Brings Out Tinashe at Austin City Limits Festival

Charli XCX did her part to uplift Tinashe at Austin City Limits Music Festival last night (October 10), bringing the Popstar multi-hyphenate out as a special guest during her headlining set. Tinashe’s two-song performance included live debuts of “Nobody Wanna Dance Anymore” and “Melatonin.” Check it out below.
It’s been a long road to the main stage for both Charli and Tinashe, who memorably collaborated on the 2015 Ty Dolla $ign song “Drop That Kitty.” Charli is currently on tour supporting her album Music, Fashion, Film. She’ll wrap up a North American run with Underscores at the end of this month before heading to Europe and the UK with opener Audrey Hobert. Tinashe, on the other hand, kicks off her own Popstar tour with a show tonight (October 11) at the Arizona festival FORM Arcosanti.
Austin City Limits closes out its second weekend today with performances from Geese, the xx, Blood Orange, the War on Drugs, and many more. The festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
