SHAH ALAM: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is investigating an incident in which a man drove his car onto railway tracks at its station on Jalan Limbungan, Klang, on Sunday night.

Klang Selatan police chief Assistant Commissioner Lim Jit Huey said the incident occurred around 11.40pm when the 60-year-old man was travelling home from Kuala Lumpur.

"The man drove onto the railway tracks and travelled about 130 metres before reaching the station. KTMB managed to remove the car from the area at 1.40am," he said in a statement.

Lim said KTMB was investigating the case under Section 62 of the Railways Act.

Earlier, a video showing an SUV on railway tracks at a train station went viral on social media, accompanied by claims that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
