Tate McRae Roasts Her Fans for Being Horrible at Finding Easter Eggs

Translate

Easter eggs have become a cornerstone of Taylor Swift’s artistic playbook — to the point where every post, image, and video she releases is meticulously dissected by Swifties for even the slightest clue about what she might be planning next. Other pop stars have tried to follow suit, only to discover that their own fans aren’t quite as adept at connecting the dots.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show on Wednesday, Tate McRae revealed that she’d teased the title of her new single, “Housewife,” during her Lollapalooza set back in August, and somehow, no one noticed.

“My fans… we drop Easter eggs all the time, and they get none of them. They’ll always catch on to things that are completely wrong… They never get the most obvious Easter eggs. This was literally in my Lolla set, it said ‘Housewife’ when the set started, and it was like three months ago. I’m like, here!”
