Kelsey Parker gives birth to ‘rainbow baby’ and reveals adorable name

Kelsey Parker has revealed she has given birth to her "rainbow baby" with partner Will Lindsay, describing the newborn as her "little bit of hope".

The 36-year-old, who was married to the singer Tom Parker before he passed away four years ago.

Taking to Instagram, Kelsey uploaded a picture of her newborn partially in shot, revealing their name is River.

She captioning the post: “Welcome to the world, River. Our little bit of hope.”

Followers rushed to congratulate the new mother online.

Kelsey already shares Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, five, with her late husband and was set to welcome her third child with her new partner Will Lindsay, a tree surgeon, last June.

However, she suffered another devastating loss when her baby boy Phoenix was stillborn shortly before his due date.

Announcing her pregnancy with River in June this year, she said: “A year ago next month, we lost our beautiful baby boy, Phoenix.

“And somehow, through all the heartbreak, it feels like Tom and Phoenix have sent us another little gift from heaven our little rainbow baby.”

Rainbow baby is the term commonly used for a child born after a family has experienced a pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant loss.

Opened up about the devastating miscarriage last year she said she was “taking each day as it comes”

In her first interview since Phoenix's death, Kelsey told The Mirror: “I didn't think I'd be living a relived experience, first losing Tom and now losing Phoenix. But I think with any grief and loss, you have to take each day as it come and work through it.”

Tom died in March 2022 at the age of 33 following a battle with glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer.
