As the 2026 NFL season kicks off, several HBCU graduates are taking the field in a different capacity, representing their alma maters as cheerleaders for teams across the league. From the sidelines of Atlanta to Baltimore to Washington, these women bring the pride and polish of their HBCU experience into one of the most visible roles in professional football as the 2026 season is set to kick off.

The list spans a wide range of institutions and franchises. Howard University alumna McKenzie will cheer for the Atlanta Falcons, joined on the same roster by Alabama State grad Armonii. In Indianapolis, Diva, a former Miss Langston University, will represent Langston University with the Colts. Winston-Salem State alumna Mieka is set to cheer for the Philadelphia Eagles, while Bowie State grad Alexis will suit up for the Baltimore Ravens.
