ABS-CBN, TV5 seal co-production partnership for ‘ASAP XP’

ABS-CBN and TV5 have formalized a co-production partnership for the Kapamilya variety show “ASAP XP,” which will air on the Kapatid network starting Oct. 18.

The new co-production agreement was announced during the signing event held on Sunday, Oct. 11. Present at the ceremony were ABS-CBN executives Mark Lopez, Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes and Bobby Barreiro, and TV5 executives Manuel Pangilinan, Victorico Vargas and Chaye Cabal-Revilla.

Other celebrities present to celebrate the partnership were Ogie Alcasid, Piolo Pascual, Erik Santos, Darren Espanto, Alexa Ilacad, Robi Domingo, Belle Mariano, Donny Pangilinan, Dylan Menor, Carmela Lorzano, Selina Griffin and Nico Matugas.

“This partnership brings together the creative strengths of TV5 and ABS-CBN, supported by the broader reach and capabilities of the MVP Group ecosystem,” said TV5 chairman Pangilinan in a statement.
