Real Madrid have released an official statement on Kylian Mbappé after the France international underwent medical tests following his latest injury concern.

The Spanish giants confirmed that Mbappé has suffered an overstretch of the posterior capsule of his left knee.

Real Madrid stated in a statement,

“Following the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an overstretch of the posterior capsule of his left knee. Evolution pending."

The club has not provided a definitive recovery period for the 27-year-old forward, meaning his availability for upcoming matches will depend on how he responds to treatment and rehabilitation.

Mbappé has been an important figure for Real Madrid since joining the club, and any absence could represent a significant concern for head coach Xabi Alonso as the season continues.
