“In regards to the article ‘Exempting pensioners from private health rebate changes won’t make it fairer. Here’s what would,’ surely, after all those years of working so hard to achieve our goals, we shouldn’t have to worry about our pension. I wish politicians were more aware of this and understood the concerns of ordinary people, especially when you look at the pensions they receive and how comfortable they are in their retirement.”
“A comment on Euen Richie’s article, ‘Calling species ‘invasive’ – and culling them – isn’t done lightly. But it matters to Australia’s threatened species’. Whilst I’m not disputing the impact invasive animals and plants have on our native environment, it is not the fault of the animals or plants concerned. Yet, they are the ones being shot or poisoned. There was talk some years ago of introducing fertility control for certain invasive animals. Whatever happened to that?”
