Of the 10 buses inspected at the terminals of Five Star, First North Luzon Transit, Cisco, and Bataan Transit, one failed the roadworthiness inspection due to a damaged reverse light and plate light, and an expired fire extinguisher. The driver of the said bus was instructed to replace the damaged parts before plying routes again.
The LTO also shared that 17 buses at the HM Terminal in the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITx) passed the test, as well as eight buses from terminals of Victory Liner, First North Luzon, and 5 Star in Caloocan City.

“Tinitiyak ng LTO na ipagpapatuloy ang roadworthiness inspection sa mga pampasaherong bus sa iba’t ibang terminal upang matukoy ang mga posibleng depekto at matiyak na ligtas ang mga ito bago bumiyahe ngayong Undas,” the LTO said in a press release.
