Sara Duterte joins Iligan’s Pakanaug rites

ILIGAN CITY — Vice President Sara Duterte joined the Pakanaug in Iligan City on Sunday, as the image of St. Michael the Archangel, the city’s patron saint, was brought down from its pedestal at St. Michael’s Cathedral for a procession.

The ritual marked the start of the city’s month-long fiesta celebration.

Duterte was accompanied by some city officials.
