Govinda SPOTTED with Komal Rani, amid row with wife

Bollywood actor Govinda, who is set to make a comeback with his upcoming film ‘Roopa’, visited the Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai, late Tuesday night to seek Ganpati bappa’s blessings. While the actor is known to traditionally visit with his family by his side, however, this time around, he was seen with his co-star, Komal Rani Swarnkar.In photos and videos that surfaced on social media, Govinda was seen arriving at the pandal along with Komal Rani to seek blessings. Govinda and Komal participated in the prayers, while the priest applied a tilak on their foreheads.For the visit, Govinda opted for a traditional white outfit for the occasion, while Komal Rani was dressed in a vibrant yellow ethnic ensemble. The duo joined devotees gathered for Ganapati darshan.

Govinda offered prayers and joined in the the final aarti of the day.Govinda was also seen greeting fans and fellow devotees as they recorded videos of his visit. Photos and videos from the visit have since gone viral on social media.Komal Rani also grabbed everyone’s attention for her appearance alongside Govinda, especially after rumours of her being romantically involved with the actor made headlines. The duo was hit with cheating allegations by wife Sunita Ahuja, who alleged that her 62-year-old husband was involved with the actress 'who is his daughter's age'.

Govinda had introduced Rani to the media in July as the new co-star in his upcoming film, ‘Roopa’, and the matter gained steam after the press conference. He had supported his wife during her stint in the reality streaming show ‘Lock Upp’, and even went to receive her after her elimination from the show.Speaking about his return to films, Govinda said earlier being written off by people only made him stronger. Calling it "destiny," he shared that he has always believed in starting again and hopes Roopa connects with young audiences."Maybe it was destiny that I was written off so many times. People kept saying, 'Now he won't appear in films anymore.' But I always started again. I pray to God that this film achieves what I've envisioned, something people may not even imagine, and works its magic."He added, "This film is especially for youngsters. When they watch it in theatres, I hope it inspires them to dream, and to believe those dreams can come true. I won't discuss any spirituality beyond that."Govinda was last seen in the 2019 film 'Rangeela Raja,' in which he played a double role. He also appeared in the 2022 documentary 'Naam Tha Kanhaiyalal.'
