Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding aisle was reportedly designed as a forest, and leaked design renderings now show how the ceremony space at Madison Square Garden was planned. According to the Daily Mail, the arena was turned into woodland, with trees and greenery lining a long walkway to the altar. The renderings also reveal an idea that never happened. Early plans reportedly called for a man-made pond under the altar. Neither Swift nor Kelce has yet commented on the leaked images, and the report leans partly on an unnamed insider.
Leaked renderings show the forest-style aisle at Madison Square Garden
The images, as described by the Daily Mail, show a straight central aisle running directly to the altar. Plants, not the usual flower arrangements, surround it. Rows of trees and soft lighting fill the space around the guests, which fits the nature-inspired look the couple reportedly wanted.
Madison Square Garden is home to the Knicks and Rangers, so turning an arena built for hockey and basketball into woodland takes serious effort.
Swift was hands-on, the insider claimed.
The source alleged she wanted a say in every creative choice instead of just approving finished designs, which is a very different level of involvement. If that is accurate, it would explain why the setup reads as personal rather than a standard venue makeover.
The renderings also show decorative structures framing the altar. Speakers and musicians were reportedly hidden behind the greenery so nothing broke the forest illusion for guests.
Fans have had little more than scattered details until now. Renderings show the plan itself, which makes them more useful than rumor.
A planned pond was dropped, and an outside planner has notes
The biggest change involved water. Early plans reportedly included a man-made pond beneath the altar, where the couple would have exchanged vows. The insider said the team dropped it because it needed too much engineering and raised safety concerns for guests. More greenery took its place.
A pond under an altar means water, equipment and a crowd of guests in an arena. Dropping it looks like a practical call, not a creative retreat.
An outside voice weighed in too.
Celebrity wedding planner Tara Guérard, who had no role in the event, liked the forest concept. She said the trees and foliage suit a whimsical theme. The seating was another matter. Cream-colored coverings stand out in the renderings, and she suggested darker shades would have blended in better with the surroundings.
Neither Swift nor Kelce has addressed the leak, so the pond, the seating and the rest remain the Daily Mail's account for now.
