KL tuition teacher nabbed over sexual assault of 5 students

A teacher at a tuition centre in Kuala Lumpur has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting five students earlier this month.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus said five reports were lodged alleging that the assault occurred at the suspect’s house, which was being used as a tuition centre.
Police have taken the statements of the victims and their family members. Their school and the district education office are also assisting with the probe.
“The reports were lodged at the Bukit Jalil police station. One report was filed on Oct 6, another on Oct 10, and the remaining three on Oct 11.
“The suspect has been arrested and is under remand for further investigation,” Fadil said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 377C of the Penal Code for carnal intercourse against the order of nature and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act for the physical sexual assault of a child.
