Artem Lobov has accused Conor McGregor of sending people to burn his car and threaten his mother with a hammer. The former UFC fighter made the claims in a run of posts on X on Monday, after a reply about McGregor's final fight turned into an argument with fans. The posts arrived while McGregor promotes his next bout, the last on his current UFC contract. Lobov also says McGregor shortchanged his coach and closest friends on money he owed them. None of it is verified. McGregor has not responded in public, and Lobov says more details are coming.

What Is Artem Lobov Accusing Conor McGregor Of Doing?

Artem Lobov started with a short jab. A UFC on TNT Sports post said Conor McGregor was teasing his last fight, and Lobov replied, “Last fight happened many years ago, now it's about supporting the habit. In my humble opinion, of course.” Fans hit back. Lobov answered with names and figures.

According to Lobov, McGregor shook hands on deals his coach and friends brought in, then did not pay what he promised. Lobov claims the former two-division UFC champion earned $100 million for the 2017 Floyd Mayweather boxing match, yet coach John Kavanagh got “100K if even” when five percent was the agreed cut. Lee, the founder of The Mac Life, was paid 500 euros a week before tax for years. Gerry Vegas was promised 10K at the start of a camp and 10K at the end, but never saw the second payment. Derek, a father of three, was let go weeks before Christmas, he says.

Lobov wrote McGregor “sent people to burn my car and threaten my 60-year-old mother with a hammer.” He says McGregor never confronted him in person, even though Lobov was at SBG every Tuesday and Thursday for years. McGregor only calls him out at 4 a.m., Lobov says, when he is asleep with his kids. He blames drink and drug use for the change in his old friend and added, “All of this allegedly, of course.”

How Did The Feud Between Lobov And McGregor Reach This Point?

The two were close for years. Lobov says McGregor flew to Brooklyn to back him after a run-in with Khabib Nurmagomedov's team, an episode that ended with the UFC 223 bus attack. “We were brothers and had each others backs no matter what,” Lobov wrote. By his account, the Nurmagomedov trouble began when he defended McGregor's honor.

Money split them. Lobov sued over the Proper No. Twelve whiskey brand, saying he negotiated the deal and was promised a five percent stake. McGregor disputed the claim. The case was settled in April 2026 on undisclosed terms.

McGregor has not addressed any of the posts in public. He is coming off a knee injury that ended his fight with Max Holloway in 69 seconds at UFC 329 in July. No independent check of the figures or the claims about the car and the mother has surfaced.
