KUALA LUMPUR: A 73-year-old woman has impressed social media users after a video posted on Threads showed her running 4.07km in 30 minutes.

The post by @dausyusofjr showed her completing the run at a pace of seven minutes and 21 seconds per kilometre, drawing admiration from commenters who said they would struggle to keep up.

"Age 73. Is this pace okay?" the poster wrote in the caption.

The woman's name and her relationship with the person who shared the video were not immediately known.

The post has garnered more than 440,000 views and 22,400 likes.

Among those impressed was @farin.hashim, who compared the woman's performance with her own.

"That's fast. I cover 6km in an hour. She has already covered 4km in 30 minutes," she wrote.

Another user, @aufthority, joked that the woman could breeze through the Haj pilgrimage.

"She could complete all seven trips between Safa and Marwah in 15 minutes, God willing," the user wrote.
