Watch: Is it the end of the road for Tesla's Cybertruck?

Translate

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said production of the firm's Cybertruck is "winding down" in Texas, to focus on its self-driving Cybercab cars.

The model is only produced at Tesla's Austin base, and he did not clarify if manufacturing would be moved elsewhere or simply cease.

The Cybertruck has received a mixed response since its launch in 2023, with some praising its individuality and others simply labelling it ugly.

It has also suffered from disappointing sales, quality problems and recalls.
