Celebrity Traitors star is doing the BBC show to "avenge" Niko: "I stopped watching when he went"

The Celebrity Traitors star King Kenny has revealed his motivation for heading to the Scottish castle. The second series of the spin-off show kicks off tonight as a fresh batch of celebrities prepare to work out who is a Faithful and who is a Traitor.
Among the stars hoping to take home the top prize for their chosen charity this year are Michael Sheen, Richard E Grant, James Acaster, Bella Ramsey, and King Kenny, who shared his unique motivation to succeed.
"I watched a lot of the seasons. I'll be honest, after Niko [Omilana] went out last year, I stopped watching.

"But when I heard I was going to play this year, I got determined to do this for Niko and avenge him."
YouTuber Niko was the first celebrity to be banished from the castle during season one when his fellow contestants incorrectly thought he was a Traitor.
The Traitors went on to win the season – one lone Traitor, in fact, TV icon Alan Carr.
"I’ve done my homework and watched every single season, completed the first series of The Celebrity Traitors this time, which was a really good show, and here I am," boxer Kenny, real name Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie, continued.
"I think as I start playing, the more I’ll get into it, the more invested I’m actually going to get. Also, I'm competitive as well."

On whether he would want to be a Faithful or a Traitor, Kenny explained that there was one major reason he didn't think he would be a very successful addition to the turret.
"I don't know. The reason why I say I don't know is because I'm a bad liar but I'm a bad liar to friends and family.
"I think if it's strangers, it will be easier. If someone knows you well, they’ll notice subtle things that others don’t."
The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
