US singer-songwriter Elle King said she had the “best day of my life” as she tied the knot with longtime partner Dan Tooker over the weekend.

The 37-year-old, who is the daughter of US actor Rob Schneider and former model London King, is best known for her Grammy-nominated hit Ex’s & Oh’s – which shot her to fame after its 2014 release.

King revealed she has married her tattoo artist partner Tooker in a post to Instagram on Sunday, with a series of snaps from the big day.

The cover photo saw the couple smiling together on the big day, while showcasing King’s lavish wedding dress: a strapless gown with a dramatic flared skirt and lengthy train, worn with a sheer veil.

Tooker, who looked sharp in a double-breasted grey suit and black shirt, and was seen kissing his new bride in a video shared from the intimate outdoor ceremony.

The pair were also seen celebrating at the altar after their marriage was made official, and additional photos depicted sweet moments between them at the altar as King held a bouquet of pampas grass and flowers.

“Husband and wife. Best day of my life,” the singer captioned the post, which was liked by popstar Meghan Trainor and inundated with positive comments from fellow celebrities.

US director Adria Petty shared several heart emojis beneath the post, while comedian Chelsea Handler offered her congratulations and described King as a “beautiful babe”.

Fellow country singer Kassi Ashton said: “Gorgeous baby!!! Congratulations!!”

Other well-wishers include The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, as well as American author Lala Kent, and musicians such as Paige Ginn and Karen Fairchild.

King, born Tanner Elle Schneider, also shared videos from the event to her Instagram story, including a picture playfully smearing wedding cake into the face of her new husband.

King and Tooker have been in a relationship since 2019 and welcomed their first child Lucky Levi in 2021, while their youngest son Royal was born in 2025.

The couple publicly split in 2023 but reunited a year later, and in a previous interview with People Magazine the singer said their reconciliation was “worth all the effort in the world” for the sake of her family.

King was previously married to Andrew Ferguson, with whom she split in 2017.

The singer is the daughter of celebrity parents, and her father Schneider is known for appearing in films such as The Hot Chick and The Animal, having found fame as a comedian on US sketch show Saturday Night Live.

Her mother London is a former fashion model who has starred in films such as Raw Fish and The Calling, and was married to Schneider in 1988.

The couple divorced in 1990 when King was an infant.

King has adopted her mother’s surname during her music career, previously saying she wanted to establish herself independently from her famous father.
