‘Talk to Me’ Spinoff Titled ‘I Let You In’; Meta Debuts First Look at Immersive Horror Series (EXCLUSIVE)

“I Let You In,” a new immersive horror series from the “Talk to Me” universe, is coming to Meta. The six-episode project will be available exclusively on — and was designed specifically for — the company’s Quest headsets and VR glasses, the latter of which are set to launch in spring 2027.

According to the official description, the series will follow “a group of young travelers chasing the ultimate party in Ibiza as they become hooked on the thrill of conjuring spirits — a supernatural high deadlier than any drug.” Craig William Macneill, known for “Them” and “The Terror,” directed the series and Trent Atherton penned the script, which was based on a pitch created by him and Darren Brandl.

As previously announced, Aubri Ibrag (“The Buccaneers”), Charlotte Maggi (“Rebel Moon”), Sofia Hublitz (“Ozark”), Julio Peña (“Berlin”), Raff Law (“Masters of the Air”) and Charlie Hiscock (“Ted Lasso”) will star in the fully immersive experience.

“Talk to Me,” which premiered at Sundance in 2023 and went on to earn more than $90 million at the worldwide box office, follows a group of teenage friends who take up communion with spirits as a party activity, though a séance gone wrong carries terrifying consequences.

Causeway Films, the production company behind the film, is also behind movies including “The Babadook,” “Bring Her Back,” “The Nightingale,” “Housekeeping for Beginners” and “Leviticus,” which premiered at Sundance in January and was distributed worldwide by NEON.

“I Let You In” was commissioned by Meta and produced by XRTV, the newly formed immersive studio from Brandl and Jack Davis. The series is now in post-production, having wrapped filming of all six episodes in Spain earlier this year. News of a “Talk to Me” 3D spinoff series was first announced in Oct. 2025.

Executive producers include Brandl and Davis for XRTV; Samantha Jennings, Kristina Ceyton and Daniel Negret for Causeway Films; “Talk to Me” directors Danny and Michael Philippou; Jeff Rich, Sara Malkin, Martha Tian and Eric Cheng for Meta; and Andreas Michael Wentz and Juan Antonio Cano Trujillo for Sur Film.
