There's no doubt that the Fallout TV adaptation really was an absolute shot in the arm for a franchise that had lost momentum. That came about thanks to a dearth of video game releases over the last decade or so, and while that hasn't been resolved, at least we have new adventures in the same universe to get stuck into.

The first two seasons maintained their quality very well, and delivered some genuinely monumental moments that could have wide-reaching and long-term consequences for the existing lore. It's now set up very nicely for a third outing, and the show very much feels like its here to stay for the long haul, and the franchise should be all the better for it.

As such, additional releases tied to the adaptation have started to crop up in a variety of different places, and one of the better ones is a super premium option that could work as the centerpiece to any physical collection.

Maximus Statue Fallout Prime 1 Studio

Over on the official Sideshow website, you should be able to find the product listing for the Maximus Power Armor (Deluxe Bonus Version) Quarter Scale Statue. Rendered in Polystone, it's a spectacularly detailed effort that you won't see the like of anywhere else.

In sharing a little about what fans can expect from the release, manufacturer Prime 1 Studio put forward a brief description:

"A realistic portrayal of a youth clinging to ideals, through the T-60. Fallout is faithful to the tone of the original games while unfolding a story of its own, captivating audiences worldwide with its post-apocalyptic drama. From this world, Maximus Power Armor joins the Real Elite Masterline series.

"A young soldier who clings to the ideals of the Brotherhood of Steel in an attempt to erase a dark past. One of the story's morally complex protagonists is brought to life as an wearing the power armor he first donned. For this incredible Maximus statue, the imposing form and pose of the T-60 model, its LED-illuminated headlight, and the symbolic three claw marks are meticulously crafted based on an analysis of the on-screen props. Every detail is faithfully captured at a 1:4 scale.

"A bleached Deathclaw skull. Scuttling Radroaches. A milk vending machine that stirs memories of childhood. The specially designed base evokes the wasteland as seen through Maximus's eyes. Each element is crafted to quietly tell its part of the story."

The statue joins similar efforts for Lucy and The Ghoul, both of which have been created in just as much detail as the one above, meaning you can assemble the entire main cast if you wish. As you might expect, the level of detail included doesn't come cheap, and you'll have to fork out $1,950/£1,447.21 to secure your own Maximus statue.

Fallout Season 3 doesn't have an official release date just yet, but filming is underway and it is expected to premiere in mid-to-late 2027, all being well. There are also plenty of games coming down the pipeline, including remakes of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, though those also don't have release dates at the time of writing.
