The Milwaukee Brewers are set to play the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series. Milwaukee finished the regular season with the best record in all of baseball. However, San Diego played well to end the season and the team currently has momentum after defeating the Chicago Cubs in the NL Wild Card Series. The Padres' biggest strength is their Mason Miller-led bullpen, which is something Brewers manager Pat Murphy understands.

"The challenge of facing the Padres, Pat Murphy says, starts with facing 'the best bullpen in baseball,'" Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reported Friday.

The Brewers have a reliable bullpen as well. The Padres' bullpen, though, is almost unhittable at times. Miller is the best closer in the game while a number of other relievers are especially impactful.

The series should be competitive. Of course, Milwaukee has home field advantage and the ball club's regular season performance suggests they can win the NLDS. With that being said, San Diego is going to make things interesting.

If the Padres can win at least one contest on the road in the first two games, Games 3 and 4 back at Petco Park will be especially intriguing. The Padres have one of the better home field environments in the sport for postseason baseball.

Game 1 between the Padres and Brewers will be played at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Saturday night. First pitch is scheduled for 8:30 PM ET as the Brewers hope to take care of business in the first matchup of the NLDS.
