News24 | Two of four accused in Reiger Park shootings get bail
Two of the men accused of the August Reiger Park shootings, in which two cops and two civilians were killed, have been granted bail.
Roleen Lessing and Jaydin Margerman were killed when the car they were in came under fire in Reiger Park on the East Rand on 7 August.
Anti-Gang Unit officers, Constables Thapelo Tlomatsana and Sphiwe Sibeko, were gunned down while responding to the incident.
Four men have since been arrested for the killings.
Two of them, Elvino Levert Crafford, 27, and McFoolen Ford, 26, were granted bail of R5 000 each by Magistrate Sipho Manana in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
The other two, Regan Cheslin Collis, 23, and Jamal Meyer, 24, were denied bail.
