Spotify’s New Music Quiz Will Test Your Trivia Knowledge

Translate

How well do you know your music trivia? Music streaming service Spotify has unveiled a new mobile feature called Music Quiz that tests fans’ knowledge of over 2,000 artists. It’s rolling out to the US, the UK, Canada, Australia and a handful of other countries from Tuesday.

The shareable quiz, which follows a BTS quiz earlier in the year, features music trivia, album cover art and audio tracks spanning an artist’s music and milestones. Fans can share their scores for each artist’s quiz with friends, like the popular New York Times puzzle Wordle.

There are quizzes for artists including Bad Bunny, Don Toliver, Bruno Mars and Charli xcx.

How to use the Spotify Music Quiz

To find a music quiz, you have to go to the individual artist’s page.

  • First, make sure your Spotify app is up to date.
  • Next, play a track from the artist, and a Music Quiz card will pop up in their profile.
  • The app will then ask a series of questions about the artist and their music, and once you’ve finished, you can share your score on various social media and messaging apps.

Spotify is the world’s largest music streaming service, with over 300 million paid subscribers. It frequently experiments with new ways of engaging its users, including snapshots of your music streaming history, AI-driven personalization options, a Running Mode for your workouts and the popular Wrapped yearly summary.
