50,000 Fans, 5 Cities, Rs 16 Lakh Ticket: Looking Back At Arijit Singh’s 2023 India Concert

Indian singer Arijit Singh has officially announced his 2027 India tour. This is his first solo tour post his retirement announcement. The singer has announced he will visit 9 cities as part of his upcoming tour. His previous India tour was limited to 5 cities, making this his biggest ever in the country. The announcement comes a day after Diljit Dosanjh announced his ‘Aura World Tour’ in India.

Arijit Singh is one of the biggest and most prominent singers of India. He announced his retirement from playback singing earlier this year. Yet, every other major movie had a song voiced by Arijit Singh after his announcement. This was because the singer had a backlog of commitments to fulfill, after which he would retire from playback and focus on independent music and tours.

Arijit Singh’s Previous Concert!

While we await the tour to go on floors, here’s a look back at Arijit’s previous concert, held in 2023. Called the One Night Only India Tour, the tour took Arijit to five Indian cities and mesmerized audiences.

Arijit’s last solo tour began in November 2022 in Mumbai. He then performed in Hyderabad in December and followed it up with electrifying performances in Kolkata and Bengaluru in January 2023. The tour wrapped up in March 2023 in the capital city of Delhi. In total, the tour sold more than 50,000 tickets across 5 cities. The organizer never published the actual earnings from ticket sales. Reportedly, Arijit charges 2 crore for a live stage performance.

Interestingly, Pune was later added to the One Night Only tour as a standalone concert. The decision was made because the tour was a massive success, and the organizers added standalone special dates to extend the experience. The Pune concert on January 27, 2023, was introduced later as an exclusive standalone edition under the “One Night Only” branding, distinct from the five core cities originally listed on the main tour poster.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the most expensive ticket for the Pune concert cost 16 lakh. It was the pricing for the Premium Lounge, which is divided into 4 sections and includes unlimited food and premium liquor.

About Arijit’s Upcoming Concert

The tour will be celebrating his two-decade-long musical journey. The caption of his announcement reads, “India, Arijit Singh is going on tour (red heart emoji). The voice behind the songs that have stayed with us through love stories, heartbreaks, late-night drives, and everything in between. You’ve heard his songs a thousand times. Now, watch them LIVE.”

Tickets for the concert will go live exclusively on the ticketing platform, thumpN. While the pre-sale tickets will go live on October 11, 2026, the general sale will go live on October 13, 2026.
