Man reported missing found safe in Itogon
BAGUIO CITY — A man who had been reported missing was found safe near a creek in Itogon, Benguet, on Tuesday, Sept. 8, after police, barangay officials, and relatives searched areas near his home.
The search team scoured nearby pathways and the vicinity of a creek, where they eventually found the man sitting about 100 meters from his home.

The man was reportedly suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, which may have caused him to become disoriented and wander away from his residence.

Police and barangay personnel immediately assessed his condition and found minor scratches on his forehead and both thighs.
They administered first aid before carefully assisting him uphill to a safer location, where his family could attend to him and arrange further medical evaluation when needed. /mcm
