Ruru Madrid remains a Kapuso after GMA contract renewal

Ruru Madrid has officially renewed his ties with GMA Network through a contract renewal event with its talent management arm, Sparkle GMA Artists Center.
The actor celebrated the milestone at the event held on Thursday, Sept. 17, and attended by GMA executives Annette Gozon-Valdez, Joy Marcelo and Vic Del Rosario.
Glimpses from the contract-signing were shared by Sparkle GMA through its social media pages.

“A day of looking back at more than 10 years of milestones and memorable moments as a Kapuso,” the caption reads.

Madrid, through his Instagram Stories, marked the milestone and exclaimed, “14 years [nang] Kapuso!”
Madrid’s most recent project with the Kapuso network was the 2025 TV series “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.” His recent notable projects include the award-winning film “Green Bones” and the Cinemalaya film “Hand of God.”
Madrid is also set to star in the action TV series “Hari ng Tondo,” where he will reunite with his “Green Bones” co-star Dennis Trillo. /edv
