Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen is set to miss a few weeks after being diagnosed with a thigh injury on Sunday.
The 30-year-old Danish centre-back was taken off hurt during Barca’s 3-1 win at Sevilla on Saturday in La Liga, which preserved the Catalan team’s 100 percent start to the season.
“He will be out for the next few weeks and his progress will determine his availability,” said Barca in a statement.

Denmark faces four matches starting with an away trip to Norway on Thursday before hosting Wales on Sunday. It follows that with another home tie against Portugal before a reverse fixture in Wales on October 4.
Barca’s win in Seville took them six points clear at the top of La Liga before title rivals Real Madrid faces Atletico Madrid on Sunday in a derby clash.
