Manchester United vs Man City LIVE: Premier League latest score, match stream, goal updates and fan reaction

A huge Manchester derby is the headline act of the Premier League weekend as Manchester United host Man City at Old Trafford. For the hosts, it is a chance to build some momentum after a stuttering start to the season, and for the visitors a chance for new manager Enzo Maresca lay down a key marker early on in his tenure with Pep Guardiola’s shadow looming large.
For Michael Carrick's side, it has been an underwhelming start to the season with just four points won from their opening three games - and at least two goals conceded in every game to match an unwanted 50-year record. But the manager has already seen off their cross-city rivals while at the helm - a 2-0 win at Old Trafford in January - so hope of another derby wins remains.
Maresca is looking to continue his perfect start to life at the Etihad with a fourth straight win, topped off by matching the likes of Sven-Goran Eriksson and Pep Guardiola by winning his first Manchester derby. Nico O’Reilly is pushing to return from injury. Follow the game LIVE below with our dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis.

Early Man City team news
Manchester City are expected to recall Nico O’Reilly this afternoon, but Jeremy Doku is still sidelined by a calf injury.
O’Reilly missed the wins over Coventry and Porto after suffering a back problem in the warm-up last weekend, but manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed he is now fully fit.
Gianluigi Donnarumma should start in goal, with Ruben Dias and Marc Guehi in central defence and Josko Gvardiol at left-back. Matheus Nunes is also in contention after returning from an ankle injury.
Maresca must decide whether to retain Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson in midfield or bring O’Reilly back into the side. Erling Haaland will lead the attack, with Rayan Cherki behind him and Antoine Semenyo on the left.
Phil Foden is expected to start on the right after scoring seven times against United in his career.

Michael Carrick saw off Pep Guardiola at Old Trafford back in January as part of a dream start to life as interim manager, but faces Enzo Maresca this afternoon amid a stuttering start to his permanent role.
Maresca has four wins from four across all competition since replacing Guardiola, but this is his most important test yet.
