Asian Para Games 2026 Day 5 Live Updates: India added three silver medals to their tally early on Day 5 of the ongoing Asian Para Games in Aichi-Nagoya as Thulasimathi Murugesan and the recurve duo of Pooja Jatyan and Bhawna Choudhary secure podium finishes. In the badminton women's singles SU5 final, Murugesan takes home silver following an 18-21, 11-21 loss to China's Yang Qiu Xia, while Jatyan and Choudhary settle for silver in the recurve women's doubles after a 0-6 defeat (31-38, 30-35, 29-39) against China's Wang Xueqian and Gao Zihan. Later, Parmod secured the second spot on the podium in Men's 1500m T46 final. The triple silver success boosts India's overall medal count past 90 as they look to build on their 26-medal haul from Day 4 and maintain their fourth-place standing in the Games.
