Series’ Women Participants Revealed for European Female Leadership Program

Translate

Series’ Women, the European female leadership program organized by the Erich Pommer Institut (EPI), has unveiled the 15 female producers from 12 countries that it has selected for its sixth edition.

Launched in 2021, the initiative “supports female producers in advancing their careers, strengthening their professional networks and increasing the visibility of female-driven projects across the European screen industry,” EPI says.

The program combines expert-led training in visibility, leadership and digital entrepreneurship with individual mentoring and pitching coaching tailored to participants’ career goals. Exclusive networking opportunities at major European industry markets also provide direct access to key industry players and foster lasting connections.

The goal is to strengthen female leadership, promote the professional development of women producers and contribute to greater diversity and representation across the European screen industry.

Among the major networking opportunities are TV Drama Vision, presented by the Göteborg Film Festival in Sweden, and Series Mania Forum in Lille, France.

Through an online diversity training course designed for hiring managers or decision-makers at the producers’ companies, Series’ Women also looks to address topics of gender equality and diversity at an organizational level.

“Series’ Women offers female producers a valuable space to exchange experiences, build European networks and strengthen their professional profiles,” said Gabriela Seidel-Hollaender, project manager for the international female leadership programs at the Erich Pommer Institute. “We are proud to offer the program for the sixth time, contributing to a stronger and more sustainable European series industry.”

Series’ Women is funded by Creative Europe – MEDIA. The event partner is Series Mania Forum. Partners of the o are FOCAL, Screen Ireland, European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), European Women’s Audiovisual Network (EWA), Göteborg Film Festival, Seriesly Berlin, Women In Film & Television International (WIFTI) and The European Producers Club (EPC).
