European Union issues antitrust warning over MMG's nickel deal with Anglo American

The European Commission sent a statement of objections Wednesday to China's MMG over its planned $500M purchase of Anglo American's (AAUKF) (NGLOY) Brazilian nickel business, saying the acquisition could divert low-carbon ferronickel supply away from Europe.
