FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The short-handed New England Patriots lost two more key players in the first half of Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, as speedy running back TreVeyon Henderson injured his ankle and starting left tackle Will Campbell his right knee in a span of three plays.

The team officially ruled out both players midway through the third quarter.

Henderson, who complements starter Rhamondre Stevenson, entered the day second on the Patriots with 141 rushing yards on 38 carries and one touchdown. The injury occurred at the end of an 11-yard run early in the second quarter when he was tackled by safety Jeremy Chinn along the sideline and came up hobbling.

Meanwhile, Campbell left the game two plays later when his right leg was landed on at the end of a 4-yard run by Stevenson.

Campbell, a 2025 first-round pick, tore the MCL in his right knee last season. His shaky play upon his return from that injury, which was in the spotlight in a Super Bowl LX loss to the Seattle Seahawks, sparked questions about his long-term viability as quarterback Drake Maye's blindside protector -- which he had mostly answered with a higher level of play in 2026.

The Patriots have been snakebit by injuries, having placed 19 players on injured reserve this year, which already surpassed their total from all of last season (17).

The team turned to first-year player Corey Kiner as Henderson's replacement on Sunday. Caleb Lomu, the 2025 first-round pick, took over for Campbell.
