Ajayi Hails Hull City’s Performance In Brentford Draw

Translate

Semi Ajayi has expressed satisfaction with Hull City’s performance in their 1-1 Premier League draw with Brentford at the MKM Stadium on Sunday.

The Tigers bounced back from their 1-0 loss to Fulham in their previous match, producing a spirited display to earn a point against the visitors.

Hull City took the lead in the 24th minute after Oli McBurnie converted a penalty, giving the hosts an advantage heading into the break.

Brentford, however, stepped up their efforts in the second half and restored parity through Dango Ouattara, who found the net three minutes after the hour mark.

Although Hull City were unable to secure all three points, Ajayi praised the team’s response following their previous defeat.

The centre-back enjoyed an impressive outing and was named both the Premier League and Hull City Player of the Match in recognition of his performance.

Ajayi Satisfied With Brentford’s Draw

Ajayi acknowledged the disappointment of dropping points at home but maintained that the result was still a positive one for his side.

“It’s important that we had a good bounce back from last week, we did that,” Ajayi told Sky Sports.

“We are definitely disappointed not to come away with the three points, but a point at home is always positive.”

The result means Hull City have maintained their unbeaten home record in the Premier League this season, while Brentford have also continued their impressive run without an away defeat.

Brentford currently occupy sixth position in the league standings, with Hull City sitting in 10th place.
