Kam Hendrix has jumped into the conversation around WWE's John Cena Classic, and he's making a pretty confident claim. Maxxine Dupri's real-life husband went to X after WWE revealed the details of the inaugural tournament on RAW, saying he believes he can outclass the whole field. “I'd cook anybody in the John Cena Classic,” Hendrix wrote. The tournament is set for December 14 and will have main roster Superstars facing NXT talent. Cody Rhodes has already confirmed his participation, and injured SmackDown star Matt Cardona is also hoping to get cleared in time. Hendrix hasn't been announced as a participant, though.

Kam Hendrix Claims He Could Outclass Anyone in WWE's John Cena Classic
Hendrix didn't hold back on the new competition. His post was short, but the message was clear: he thinks he can beat anyone WWE puts in front of him.
Cena revealed the details himself on the November 2 episode of RAW in Brooklyn. The tournament will run as a special episode on Monday, December 14, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
WWE will air two episodes of RAW that day, with the other one coming from Perth, Australia.
Club WWE members will have a say in deciding the winner, who gets the John Cena Classic Championship that Cena unveiled during the announcement.
Rhodes is the first confirmed name, and Cena said he'll recruit more at NXT and Survivor Series. So the lineup is still taking shape, and Hendrix is one of many NXT names who might get a look.
Hendrix joined NXT after time on Evolve, and he's had a few TV matches there, including a shot at Tony D'Angelo's NXT Championship in June. That kind of background makes his post a fair bit more than just random trash talk, even if it's a bold one.
Maxxine Dupri's Husband Is Currently Feuding With Ek Prosper in NXT
Right now, Hendrix is feuding with Ek Prosper on NXT. The two have been at odds since Prosper got his opportunity to challenge for the NXT North American Championship.
Hendrix then got involved in the match and cost Prosper a potential title win, helping champion Jackson Drake retain.
Prosper got his payback at Halloween Havoc on October 31 at the Performance Center in Orlando.
Hendrix walked into Danhausen's lab segment, where the host said he wanted to clone him. After Danhausen left to find his cloning machine, one of the people in masks around Hendrix turned out to be Prosper, who attacked him.
It was a rough beating, and it came as part of the rivalry that's still active. Hendrix's Classic post now lands while that feud is unresolved.
NXT will also have John Cena on Wednesday's show, so the tournament is going to stay in the NXT conversation this week.
