Israeli child killed, another wounded in Beit Shemesh stabbing, man arrested
A four-year-old child was killed in a stabbing incident in Beit Shemesh on Monday.
Initially, the child, along with a six-year-old who was also stabbed, was found in critical condition, Israel Police said.
The children were found in an apartment with 'signs of violence' by paramedics after a call was made to emergency services.
Hebrew media reports indicate that the children were allegedly attacked by a mentally unstable individual who reportedly entered the home and assaulted them.
The two children were transferred for medical treatment at Hadassah-University Medical Center, in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem.
