Big Brother fans roast housemates after 'shockingly bad' task

Translate

Big Brother fans roasted housemates Yasmin, Lynx and Harry for their go at 80's music trivia. Tonight's episode saw the house travel back in time to three different periods, The Stone Age, Ancient Egypt and the 80s.

The housemates were divided into three teams to take on themed tasks relating to their time period. In team Ancient Egypt, Phillip, Samuel, and Frankie had to navigate pipes of water for Queen Rhianna's bath, and Rochelle, Omar, Catrin and Twinks were tasked with cave drawings.

Both teams had mixed results when it came to their tasks; however, it was Yasmin, Harry and Lynx in team 80s that had viewers relied up with their performance.

Their challenge was to correctly guess the song title and artist of the 80's tracks being played. Some of the hits that were included were 'Little Lies' by Fleetwood Mac, 'Land Down Under' by Men at Work and 'Don't You Want Me' by The Human League.

But many were unimpressed as they felt the trio didn't have a clue about any of the songs played.

One person wrote on X: "I’m 25. I wasn’t even alive in the 80s. And I got nearly all of them right. Their lack of music knowledge is disgusting", while someone else said: "Out of the whole series, THIS music task is pissing me off the most omg."

Others commented on their constant referencing of Fleetwood Mac, as one viewer said: "Lynx Yasmin and Harry have shockingly bad knowledge of music #bbuk do they think everything is fleetwood mac"

"HOW DO YOU GET FLEETWOOD MAC SO WRONG," a fourth wrote, while another commented: "I can't believe how bad they are at this music game."

However, despite viewer's disbelief, the group won their task, along with the pre-historic team, which opened the door for them to choose food from their relevant time period for the shopping challenge.

But while tonight's episode seemed largely chill, there was still some drama to be had.

The housemates will soon be allowed a visit from their family and friends, so they've been undergoing various challenges to increase their time limit.

In one such task, Twinks and Samuel were handcuffed together for 24 hours, only being released before their tasks. And later on, Twinks was desperate for acknowledgment of this from Rochelle.

"I love that we all get a minute and a half," she said. "But me and my boy, we need something BB. Because if she gets that thirty seconds, and we did all of that, I will start ripping this place apart with my bare hands."

But she wasn't the only person who has expressed concern about the family visits, as Phillip shared his worries about Rochelle's husband finding out the "terrible things" he's said about her with Lynx, adding: "I'm thinking her husband might say: 'Don't trust him'."

Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX.
