Serie A | Torino 1-3 Como: Nico Paz inspires comeback success

TURIN, ITALY - OCTOBER 27: Nico Paz of Como 1907 celebrates scoring his team’s second goal during the Serie A match between Torino FC and Como 1907 at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on October 27, 2026 in Turin, Italy. (Photo by Valerio Pennicino/Getty Images)
Como were trailing to the Che Adams goal for most of the match, but broke the find Torino form to win 3-1 with late goals from Jacobo Ramon, Nico Paz and Martin Baturina.
The Lariani blew Manchester United away 4-1 in the Champions League, but the injury crisis dragged on with Moise Kean, Mattia Liberali, Jesus Rodriguez, Assane Diao and Trevoh Chalobah out of action. Toro were one of the form teams in Serie A after three consecutive victories, but Rolando Mandragora joined Niccolò Fortini, Ricardo Rodriguez and Franco Israel on the absentee list.

Tasos Douvikas hoped to celebrate his new contract with a goal after just five minutes, but his knee was offside when running onto the Lucas Da Cunha through ball.
Torino also threatened, Rafik Belghali’s powerful angled drive parried by Robert Sanchez’s chest at the near post.
Como had strong penalty appeals rejected when Nico Paz dinked up a pass over the top for Lucas Da Cunha, who was caught on the ankle by Daniel Braganca, but the referee and VAR were not interested.
Nikola Vlasic stung Sanchez’s gloves at the near post, and the hosts opened the scoring when Kian Fitz-Jim robbed Jacobo Ramon playing out from the back and rolled across for Che Adams to turn in first-time from eight yards.

Douvikas saw his finish squirm under the body of Lucas Perri moments later, while Jacobo Ramon’s header from point-blank range caused Perri more problems, and Da Cunha drilled inches wide of the near post.
Luis Milla’s long-range attempt was quite a bit wider, but Maxence Caqueret had the best opportunity when smashing his strike against the crossbar from a tricky angle down the right on 54 minutes.
Giovanni Simeone went on the counter in a move that culminated in Belghali stinging Sanchez’s glove at the near post, then on the resulting corner Simeone’s bullet header was palmed onto the crossbar.
Pietro Comuzzo risked an own goal with his clumsy deflection on a Yan Couto cross, forcing Perri into a tricky save at full stretch.

Como were unlucky not to draw level when the Martin Baturina cross-shot surprised everyone to bounce off the top of the crossbar.
They finally made the possession count late on with the equaliser, as Nico Paz swung his cross to the back post for the Jacobo Ramon cushioned header from close range.

The visitors weren’t content with a point and Nico Paz drilled inches wide, and got their winner when Yan Couto whipped in a cross from the right for the Nico Paz header.
Torino crumbled and in added time Baturina harassed a tired Vlasic into an error on the edge of the area, shrugging off the attempted challenge to sweep past Perri with the inside of the right boot from 10 yards.
