Baby Reindeer star tipped for new Netflix thriller - here's everything we know

Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning is said to be starring in a new Netflix thriller series. The actor is best known for her role as Martha in Richard Gadd's critically-acclaimed Netflix series, which she also won Best Supporting Actor for at the Golden Globes.
According to Deadline, Gunning is said to be one of the four main leads in a new dark comedic thriller series, titled Feral.
Based on the 1987 novel by Shirley Conran, the series reportedly follows four women who learn to survive on a deadly tropical island when their mining exec husbands are kidnapped. However, their self-doubts and differences could jeopardise their chances.

Deadline further reports that Gunning will be playing the role of Annie, a dutiful wife who has sacrificed her own ambitions to raise four sons under her domineering husband, Dominic.
As for what is know about the show so far, it is said that Ted Lasso season 4 star Jude Mack is the creator behind it, while Interview with a Vampire's Emma Freeman is directing. Liza Marshall (Hamnet) is also producing alongside Laurie Borg (Foundation).

Feral will be a Netflix homecoming for Gunning following her role in Baby Reindeer. After her role as Martha, she starred in several films, including Steven Soderbergh's The Christophers, Sunny Dancers and The Magic Faraway Tree, and has two other films, Frank and Percy and Anxious People, in the pipeline.
She is also starring in an upcoming Apple TV crime thriller series titled Berlin Noir. The show follows a police officer who is assigned to the Berlin Murder Squad in 1928 and plans to track down a serial killer in the city.
