‘The Beekeeper 2’ Teaser: Jason Statham Kicks Rogue Govt. Agent Butt To Metallica In First Look At Sequel

Jason Statham‘s retired “Beekeeper” Adam Clay is back to take on his makers in the sequel to his 2024 action pic.
On Thursday, Amazon MGM Studios released the first teaser for the Timo Tjahjanto-helmed sequel The Beekeeper 2, which premieres in theaters on Jan. 15, 2027 and sees Statham reprise his role as the former assassin.
In The Beekeeper 2, Clay is a wanted man pulled back into the fight when the Beekeeper organization goes rogue and sets its sights on controlling the government. In order to clear his name, Clay must save the president of the United States and take on the very group that made him.
The sneak peek features Statham kicking butt to Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” before landing a classic Statham zinger.
Penned by Kurt Wimmer and Zak Penn, the sequel also stars Pom Klementieff, Jemma Redgrave, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Adam Copeland, Bobby Naderi, Yara Shahidi and Jeremy Irons.
Producers include Statham, Chris Long, p.g.a. and Kurt Wimmer, with executive producers Jonathan Glickman, Thom Zadra, Alexandra Loewy, Rachael Cole and David Ayer, as well as co-producers Anthony M. Scott, Spencer Ela and Asa Sims.
